Dr Dafydd Trystan Davies the new Plaid Cymru Assembly candidate for Cardiff South and Penarth

Dr Dafydd Trystan Davies has been nominated by Plaid Cymru to fight the Cardiff South and Penarth seat in Cardiff Bay in the 2016 Assembly Elections

Davies currently lives in Grangetown , Cardiff and fought the Cynon Valley seat for Plaid Cymru in the last Assembly Elections. Asked if he would be moving to Penarth, Mr Davies said “Penarth is the best place to live in all the world of course” – and added that father lives in Grove Place Penarth.

The current Cardiff South and Penarth AM is Vaughan Gething (Labour) .
