Twice in 24 hours Penarth Lifeboat, supported by Penarth Coastguard has been called out to rescue . people stranded on Sully Island.

This afternoon’s launch (Sunday March 30 2014) was carried out in calm conditions. Two people were brought to safety after being  cut off by the tide on Sully Island this afternoon.

A further person who was spotted walking around Lavernock Point was also  advised of tide times .
