A top designer Deborah Drew is involved in plans to renovate the former Holm House Hotel on Marine Parade, Penarth .
Deborah Drew – Deb to all her fans and friends -is well-known to millions of tv viewers as the creative designer working alongside Nick Knowles in the BBC’s popular “DIY SOS” show which has rescued scores of householders from the folly of their own do-it-yourself home-improvement horrors.
Over three and a half years on the show Deborah proved more than a match for the famous light-hearted banter of Nick Knowles and his team and,- despite the time pressures, unfailingly managed to turn every DIY disaster into a stunning result.
As previously reported by PDN (http://tinyurl.com/ksabdmq) Holm House has been bought by Edinburgh Woollen Mill and is to be re-opened as an hotel called the “Cordelia” when renovations are complete.
Deborah Drew’s company Deborah Drew Designs is based in Whitchurch, Cardiff (http://www.dddesigns.co.uk/)
