South Wales Police have not yet issued any statement about a mystery  incident which occurred in Glebe St near the premises of the taxi firm Penarth Cars at 18:05 last night.

It appeared as though officers were examining a garage/store room with a roller-shutter  entrance next-door to the taxi firm. One person was in the back of their police car – presumably assisting them with inquiries.

Police say further information may not be available until Tuesday and the release of any information will be subject to the nature of the incident.
