The excursion ship MV Balmoral is scheduled to call at Penarth no fewer than 50 times in the course of this year’s summer season.
Balmoral will come alongside Penarth Pier for the first time this year on July 27th and there will be a full programme of sailings throughout August.
Balmoral‘s 2016 summer season will actually begin on the South Coast at Worthing on June 7th with a programme of sailings which will take her to the Isle of Wight, Cowes and Southampton ,Portsmouth and Swanage including visits to Lulworth Cove .
She’ll also visit the River Thames calling at Margate, Whitstable, Tilbury and Gravesend – cruising through Tower Bridge.
From July 7th Balmoral will be calling at Liverpool and at resorts along the North Wales coast including Llandudno, Menai Bridge, and Caernarfon and will have cruises to the Isle of Man and around Anglesey on her itinerary.
She’ll be back in the Bristol Channel on the 26th of July calling at Porthcawl and Swansea and will be here at the pier on July 27th with a summer schedule which offers a large variety of destinations for passengers from Penarth.
