A 61-year-old man, David John Cotter, of Plas St Pol de Leon, Penarth, has been convicted  of engaging in sexual activity at the Albert Road public toilet in Penarth.

Cotter had pleaded not guilty to the offence which occured on January 4th 2016 but was found guilty by Cardiff Magistrates.

He was fined £375 and ordered to pay a £37 victim surcharge and  must also cover court costs of £620. He had originally been  apprehended by two duty PCSOs (Police Community Support Officers)who had been on patrol in the area.

    Lots of convictions in these toilets. One way to get the crime figures up. PCOs could try the local gyms for banned steroids that’ll get there hit rates up.
