Penarth Coastguard and NHS paramedics dealt with the unconscious casualty at Lavernock

It’s been confirmed that Penarth Coastguard, NHS paramedics and South Wales Police were  all been involved in the successful extraction of an unconscious casualty from Lavernock last night.

The casualty was discovered on the beach at Lavernock Point and was off the shore on a stretcher and taken to hospital by ambulance. No further details are available.
