Cog Road Sully. The precise location of the two shooting incidents has not been pinpointed by police. The photo is a generic one of the mile-long road which runs from West Sully to Swanbridge  Rd.

South Wales Police an investigating two separate ‘shooting’ incidents which occurred at the weekend on Cog Road – on the Northern  boundary of Sully.

Police say the incidents happened between 17:45 and 18:00 on  Sunday, 29 May, 2016 . Two witnesses – a man driving a car and a female pedestrian – both informed a local police officer patrolling the area .

The two witnesses told the police they had been “struck by small objects which appeared to have been propelled from a nearby address”. Nobody was seriously injured or required hospital treatment.

It’s not clear whether an air-gun or air-rifle was used or whether the device was a catapult. The precise location of the incident has not been disclosed.
