PENARTH CREW GIVES OXYGEN TO PLYMOUTH ROAD FIRE CASUALTY

Three fire engines were called to a blaze in the basement of a house in Plymouth Road, Penarth last night.

Fire-fighters had to wear breathing apparatus as they entered the building and deployed a thermal imaging camera to  see through the thick smoke to check for people in the building  .

One casualty, who was affected by smoke, was given oxygen by fire-crews at the scene.
