Police say the dog owner who was filmed on CCTV  has  two dogs – a black and white collie dog and blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It’s the Staffordshire Bull Terrier which is said to have bitten the young girl’s foot .

It’s thought the dog-owner may originate from the Cardiff Bay side of the Barrage and is urged to come forward as soon possible.  Anybody who thinks they can recognise him or knows who he is should contact South Wales Police via 101 quoting reference *263299 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The approximate time of the incident was 16:00 – four o’clock in the afternoon – outside the Clive Arms in John St, Penarth a week ago today.
