It seems its all too easy to park-up a car and forget all about setting that danged handbrake.

This is what happened to one motorist’s car after parking on the Custom House car park.  The car evidently had a mind of its own and decided move a little closer to the to edge.

Fortunately that  chain link fence was tough enough to prevent the runaway vehicle – a 2014 Hyundai – from encroaching too far onto the pedestrian footpath on the harbour perimeter … and  luckily no one was using the path at the time .
