Alicia Forsey receiving treatment at the Heath Hospital being attacked in Cornerswell Road, Penarth

Penarth police are attempting to trace eyewitnesses to an attack near the chip shop in Cornerwell Road , Penarth  in which a 21 year woman who suffers from epilepsy sustained serious facial injuries.

The woman, Alicia Forsey and her boyfriend, had just bought chips at the shop when she was set upon by a group of girls and struck in the face by a male – breaking her eye socket.

Police say the attack took place at 22:30 close to the Penarth Fish Bar on Saturday . Ms Forsey had to subsequently undergo five hours of emergency medical treatment at the Heath Hospital. Ms Forsey’s mother witnessed the attack from her car. The victim’s partner was also assaulted during the incident.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact  101 or Crimestoppers quoting reference 298405.

    The Police probably don’t know about this website and probably don’t need the publics help or so they may think , its a good job we have mobile phone cameras or CCTV footage . Have the Police put out an appeal for any camera footage, probably not . I hope one of the gang snitches on the others or finds a conscience.

    It is already widely known who carried out this attack. Why the police can’t deal with these idiots is a strange one. He will know doubt get his slap on the wrist and be let free. There used to be a time where parents were responsible for their children’s actions. I would’ve had a clip round the ear if I was anywhere near that situation. I look forward to seeing the reasons given by the defence.

      Go on tell us…. or at least a clue.
      Better still tell the police as they might not have the ears and the eye to the ground.
