Another cruise liner – the Fred Olsen ship Braemar –  has sailed past Penarth today with a full complement of passengers to dock in Cardiff.

The “Braemar” has docked in the same part of Cardiff Docks as the liner Minerva did on Sunday.

In 20o9 the ship – originally called the Cunard Crown Dynasty – was cut in two and “stretched” by having a new centre section added to enlarge her .

The Braemar is currently on a 12-day voyage around Britain called “The Great British Cruise” from 08 Aug, 2016 to 19 Aug, 2016 and Penarth residents will have another chance to see her when she sails from Cardiff on tonight’s high tide sometime after 22:00 .

Her destination is “Dublin via Fingal’s Cave”
