Motts was first opened for business by its founder Mr Ron Mott on August 18th 1966.  It’s now run by his son, director Ben Mott – but Mr Mott senior (who’s now 83) still retains an active role in the business and works a four-day week .

To mark the firm’s 50-years of trading Ben Mott says the management and staff would like to say “thank you” to the residents of Penarth for their support over the years.

This takes me back a bit. Is Ron still working in Penarth ??

    • Lyndsay Doyle says:

It says so in the article, if you care to read it.

      • The Tax payer says:

So sorry that you have had to waste your time having to let me know this. But at least it gives you something to do with your sad life 😎

      • Lyndsay Doyle says:

I suppose you’ll only make the same mistake next time. So glad you could find some time to respond to me. Perhaps with all your spare time you could read the articles instead.

      • Hamish Munnypenny says:

A slow day at work, Lyndsay? Perhaps you should lay off a couple of staff and do a bit more yourself? Show “Tax Payer” how much tax you pay, and he might change his name! Haha!
Congratulations to the Mott dynasty on a golden anniversary!

  2. Alan Thompson says:

Well done Ron and Ben it’s good to see that face to face advice is still thriving in this internet world we are now in !
