the elderly lady was knocked down by a driver parked on double yellow lines, (son of lady)

    • Jalopy says:

How can you get knocked down by a parked car?
      This smells like insurance claim.

      • jason says:

the car reversed of the double yellow lines into her , I bet you wont call into me and say that to my face

      • Jalopy says:

Whhhooooa Jason, Calm down. This is Penarth, not Berlin in ’88. Don’t erupt tensions because of my humorous prodding at your lack of grammar.

Tell you what. Tell me where you live and I can put a mormon leaflet through your door. Maybe finding Jesus will help you see the way and hold that temper to a mere simmer.

      • Woowoo Wizzywoo says:

Look, after nearly 2000 years, I doubt that Jesus will be found now. If you’re going to search for someone who’s gone missing, try Lord Lucan, Keyser Soze, Nigel Farage or Wally. You could even look for Shergar or Moby Dick.
And yes, I do know some of these characters are fictional, but if you believe enough, they might reappear, like Tinkerbell!

  2. Mgg says:

Ok mum see you later …Ok just reverse and pull out …dunk!, I thought you’d crossed the road .. I was looking for my glasses ..where’s yours !?

  3. AK says:

Two police vehicles ? It’s a shame they weren’t around to stop the illegal parking in the first place.

I do hope the old lady is not too badly injured.

  4. QueensRd says:

Absolute disgrace, and how long until someone is seriously hurt by these selfish drivers? I refer once again to the deliveries at Euronics, which last week blocked the zebra crossing and nearly caused me and my daughter to be run over (I have pics of the parking to prove it). A complaint to the police resulted in no action and a complaint to the manager of Euronics resulted in a string of insults to me. We need an urgent crackdown on these people before something terrible happens.

  5. QueensRd says:

Jalopy, I suspect that your ‘humorous prodding’ at Jason’s grammar isn’t the wisest move when his mother has just been run over….. not funny.
