Penarth Police are investigating what appears to be deliberate damage to a black 2013 Kia 2-litre diesel saloon which had been parked on Saturday night on King St, Penarth.
Both the left hand (on-side) windows had been deliberately smashed-in, scattering broken glass all over the car seats.
It’s understood the car alarm went off at around 01:15 – in the early hours of Sunday (yesterday) morning – and an eyewitness reported seeing a man emerge from King St who later walked down Salop Place.
It’s not yet known if anything was stolen from the car. Details have all been passed to the police and further details are awaited.
