A sixty three year old Penarth man Raymond O’Connell –  who had been charged the with attempted murder of a Barry woman – has has now been formally charged with her murder following her death in hospital.

The woman,  Lynne Braund (54),  who was found by police at an address at Glanmor Crescent, Barry with critical injuries on August 4th 2016.

O’Connell’s case will now come before Cardiff Magistrates Court on Friday, September 2nd.
