Four fire engines from Penarth and from Cardiff were called to the Jaflon Curry House in Albert Road, Penarth early this morning.

The fire is understood to have broken out in the kitchen of the premises – which were once Penarth’s main Post Office .

The first engine was at the scene within 6 minutes of the first call – and immediately called in reinforcements from Cardiff.

Four firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus entered the building and fought the fire for an hour . The premises were  heavily smoke logged – but all the people in the building were accounted for  .

A full fire investigation is to be carried out at the Jaflon curry house this morning to determine the cause of the outbreak.

    To which other Indians can only aspire.
    With biryani and rice
    They are so so nice
    Becuase they are all cooked with fire
