The premises of the former Penarth estate agents “Meadowvale” are to become a new base for rgw Barry-based undertakers Park Funeral Directors.

The Barry-based undertakers Park Funeral Directors have acquired the premises of the former Meadowvale Estate Agency and are currently converting them into a new funeral home for Penarth.

The shop – currently under conversion – is on Stanwell Road between hair stylists Cut and Styled and Shepherd Sharp estate agents.

Park Funeral Directors Ltd, covers the entire Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas and provides services “encompassing all religions and denominations”. The firm also  caters for humanist non-religious funeral ceremonies.

It’s understood that the premises in Stanwell Road already have A1 planning status which covers their use as a funeral home. A PDN source says it’s also understood that no bodies will be left on the premises overnight .
