A notice has appeared in the window of the premises  notifying callers that the owners of the premises – Bluevale Estates Ltd  – have taken possesion of the premises and no persons may lawfyully enter unless they have been authorised to do so.

The business had opened in August 2014  as a spin-off from a “head-to-toe man-maintenance clinic” of the same name in the Cathays area of Cardiff. The interior decor with deep leather armchairs made the new premises look more like a gentlemen’s club than a barber’s shop.

Groom For Men had offered everything from barbering to “contemporary styling”, hot-towel shaving, male waxing, hand-and-foot  maintenance, hair replacement therapy and even spray tanning.

Sorry to see them go. It was great to not need an appointment and they often opened late in the evening. To me they offered a good service and will be missed.

They have now re-opened, according to their Facebook page. Praise be !

Would be nice to see and article to tell people it’s back open, it doesn’t look like it was closed through fault of their own.
