A yacht which was spotted “sailing erratically” in Cardiff Bay this afternoon has  been shadowed  – and then intercepted –  by a Penarth Harbour Authority launch.

Penarth Coastguard say the skipper was “intoxicated”. The vessel was towed to a berth where coastguard officers interviewed the man .

He was arrested for alleged “Breach of the Peace ” and taken into custody by South Wales Police .
