“GOOD SAMARITAN” DRIVER SUBJECTED TO ALLEGED RACIAL ABUSE

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident which occurred a fortnight ago on Sully Road, Penarth – near the entrance to St Cyres School.

A woman who stopped to assist a driver who had accidentally driven into a roadside ditch has alleged that she was subjected to “racial abuse” from another motorists who had also stopped at the scene.

The incident occurred at approximately 16:30 on Tuesday, January 3rd 2017.

Sully Police are today appealing for the drivers of both vehicles – and to anyone else who may have seen the accident – or who witnessed the ensuing altercation – to contact them by dialling 101  quoting reference 1700003225.
