The Domino's Pizza driver wearing reflective strips - appears to urinate against the wall of Mr Smith's Penarth home

After delivering a pizza the Domino’s driver – wearing reflective strips – appears to urinate against the wall of Mr Smith’s Penarth home (Photo YouTube/Daily Mail/Media Wales/Wales on Line].

A delivery driver working for Domino’s Pizza  has been caught on camera urinating on the outside wall of a customer’s house in exclusive Caversham Park, Penarth .

Local resident  Robin Smith said the driver  had just delivered his pizza and was returning to his car – placed his insulated delivery bag on the bonnet.

He was then seen walking to the site of Mr Smith’s home and was captured on video camera apparently urinating against the wall of the £450,000 property.

Mr Smith said that if it the pizza man had only told him when he called at the door that he he had been caught short he would have been invited to use the downstairs toilet in the house.  The action has led to concern about the  hygiene levels of Domino’s Pizza staff – particularly  as they’re all handling food items.

A spokeperson for Domino’s said the driver in question had now been suspended pending an investigation and said such behaviour was “clearly wholly unacceptable”.

Domino’s have apologised unreservedly to Mr Smith, will be sending him compensation as a gesture of goodwill  – and have offered to clean the outside wall of his house .

Pizza Man has a pizza. I’ll bet Mr Smith wont want any special doughy bread with (very) special toppings as compo. Anyway- cheese on toast is far superior and maybe less salty 🙂

  2. Thank goodness I never won one at the Cardiff Devils games.

  3. sjleworthy says:

wonder if its got a most soggy bottom?

  4. AK says:

Should have gone to Tony’s !

  5. Jonny says:

“exclusive Caversham Park” – best laugh I’ve had in ages.

  6. What kind of story is this ? if you go around Penarth at the weekends at night you see this kind of thing frequently, I know its disgusting and I as a male always think , why cant they use the pub toilets before leaving ?? The only difference in this story was the hygiene part but as the food was protected by a cardboard box and he didn’t commit the act till AFTER he had got rid of his delivery, there was no health threat. And anyone who orders food over the phone to be delivered in this way takes a risk anyway, how do they know who or what has been in contact with the item other than the delivery man? I remember the days of corner shops when bread delivery vans used to race around with daily deliveries , on wooden trays and ive seen bread rolls being picked up off the floor and put back with the rest. Also in sweet factory when peanuts that had fallen on the floor were swept up put through a sieve and gone to be covered in chocolate with the rest of the batch. Perhaps the person who did the filming will go and fetch his /her own food next time or make his/her own.

    • Chris David says:

And your point is? Oh I see- we abandon take away’s- especially on wholly unacceptable match days 🙂

    • Derek says:

Yes, if one starts to think about all the possibilities for and probabilities of “contamination”, one wouldn’t eat.

    • sjleworthy says:

i completely agree with Andrews post.

we take deliveries on faith. i think if we actually knew some of the kitchen nightmares or hygiene issues that might have occurred to our deliveries every single time we order, which are very real, then yes, most of us (well some of us) would never order again.

      take your pick 🙂

  7. Ivor Bagman says:

    Good job it wasn’t
    a pizza rear .
    He He .

  8. Chris David says:

Ha ha Mr Bagman- very funny. I’d have a pizza that but Mr Worsley would poo poo it.

  9. Paul says:

  10. Chris David this forum is for people to make comments about local issues and at times debate them. It is not for people to make unwarranted remarks and abuse against people they do not know just because they are challenged. I suggest you grow up and act your age (which seems in single figures judging by your childish remarks ).

  11. Chris David says:

Thanks Andrew. Now I’m sure we have nothing in common and you know what this forum is for I’m reassured 🙂 x Ps- yes ta for info but I realised you were challenged- just didn’t want to highlight it.

  12. AK says:

I don’t imagine that the delivery guy actually prepares or handles food; it is more about the act of peeing against a customer’s house.

Bad luck that the house has CCTV – so much for ‘exclusive Caverham Park’, No need for CCTV in Cogan !

Who eats sandwiches and snacks in their car ? How clean are your hands/steering wheel/ gear stick?
