Police were called to Victoria Road, Penarth in the early hours of the morning when a girl in a car with 6 youths was reported to be “distress”.
It’s understood that the car had come to a halt in Victoria Road. Penarth after midnight with its horn being sounded.
Six young people got out of the car but the girl – who an eyewitness said appeared to be in distress – locked herself in to the vehicle and refused to get 0ut.
The witness said one of the males attempted to pull the girl out of the open car window. Local residents called the police, who arrived on the scene within 20 minutes .
South Wales Police say they responded to reports of “a disturbance” on Victoria Road, Penarth, at approximately 00:05 hours on Sunday, April 9th. On arrival at the scene, officers spoke to a number of people but determined no offences had been committed. No further action was taken.
