The cruise ship Magellan passed Penarth this weekend – on her way from Newport where she had embarked passengers for a cruise around  Great Britain and Ireland with the first port of call being Dublin.

Silver Wind is said to be due in Cardiff on June 9th – but isn’t yet officially  listed for arrival

The next liner to look out for is the Silver Wind – an ultra-luxury mini liner of the Silver Sea Line which carries only about 250 passengers – giving them all the experience of being on a very large private yacht.

PDN sources say she is currently at Londonderry and is reported to be due to call at Cardiff on June 9th- although does not yet appear on the docks movement lists.

Balmoral edging carefully towards Penarth Pier on June 1st with just about enough depth of water under her keel.

Meanwhile the MV Balmoral – after a busy weekend in the Bristol Channel – is en route for Weymouth  and will be rounding Land’s End later this morning.
