CLIFF-TOP ARTISTS GET PENARTH’S SUMMER SEASON UNDER WAY

Visitors have been taking a sneak preview of the Penarth’s Cliff Top Art Exhibition which is due to be opened at 13:00 today

Penarth’s Cliff-Top Artists annual outdoor art exhibition is now on display at Cliff Walk – once again initiating Penarth’s Summer Season and Carnival.

The exhibition actually opened opn a preview yesterday – but the official opening by the Mayor of Penarth is to take place later today . Ther exhibition is on for 10 days .

Not quite so many artists as usual are participating this year, but the quality of the works on show – most of which are for sale – are well up to the usual standards.

The eight artists who are exhibiting at the cliff top have a wide variety of works on show.

Getting to the finishing line of the Downhill Derby is an achievement in itself

The artists expect a busy day tomorrow with the thrills and spills of the annual gravity-racing Downhill Derby attracting crowds to Cliff Walk.
