The burgled premises is one of a number of businesses located at No 2 Herbert Terrace, Penarth

South Wales Police are searching for a burglar or burglars who raided offices at Herbert Terrace on the night of Saturday November 4th – a night when multiple firework displays were going on throughout the town   .

The thieves ransacked the premises of the “ANNEBEAUTY” salon at 2 Herbert Terrace – opposite the entrance to the Washington  – and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

On the night of November 4th the premises had been broken into and every single drawer had been rifled by thieves seaching for cash and valuables (Photo Twitter) 

Today the proprietor put a photo of a dressing table on Twitter in which every drawer had been searched for cash and valuables.

It appears the burglars forced their way in by breaking the frame of the internal office door – which had been securely locked. The premises are occupied by several different businesses each with their own locked rooms.

“ANNEBEAUTY” is based at 2 Herbert Terrace, Penarth

Police say the burglary happened sometime between 18:10 on Saturday 4th November and 08:45hrs on Sunday 5th November.

    There was also a burglary over the weekend at the PDSA shop where they used a crowbar to force entry at the rear. No doubt looking for the weekly takings . In the same locality, no doubt linked.

    There were so many young people congregating in Herbert Terrace over the weekend.
    Perhaps done as a dare, no doubt our CCTV will catch them!
    Or maybe Alun Michael saw something out of his £1m town centre mansion?
