MAN FOUND DEAD IN PENARTH WAS PARTNER OF GARETH BALE’S FIANCEE’S SISTER

Gareth Bale is a frequent visitor to Penarth and in 2014 shot a commercial on Penarth Pier

A  29-year-old man who was the long-term partner of Katie Rhys Jones (sister of soccer-star Gareth’s Bale’s fiancée  Emma Rhys Jones ) has been found dead at his parents’ home in Penarth.

He’s Alexander Williams  – who is the father Katie Rhys Jones’s two children.

Police say that although Mr Williams’s death is being investigated, there are no suspicious circumstances. One source says the case is being treated as suspected suicide.

Gareth Bale’s fiancée Emma Rhys Jones – who has been busy in Spain planning her wedding to the Wales and Real Madrid star – has now flown home to Cardiff to comfort her sister Katie.

Katie had only recently given birth to her second child by the late Mr Williams. The body of Alexander Williams was discovered at the home of his parents in Penarth on Wednesday morning last week – but only now has the news leaked out.

The Vale of Glamorgan coroner has now been informed  but with the large backlog for inquests in the Vale it is likely to be several months before an inquest is held
