Burglars have smashed in rear patio doors in a raid at Stacey Road, Dinas Powys

There has been yet another domestic burglary in which the thieves have broken in through patio doors at the rear of a house  – a modus operandi which police say has already been used in several cases in Penarth.

The latest case is in Dinas Powys where on Thursday, January 4th thieves smashed a patio door to gain entry sometime between 11.45 and 13.30

“Hundreds of pounds worth” of jewellery were stolen – including 2 black pearl necklaces, a white pearl necklace, a gold watch, two brooches featuring a woman’s face, and pair of silver rectangle cufflinks with a “Mont Blanc” star crest.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, or who is offered any items they suspect might be stolen for sale, should contact 101, quoting the Crume Number 1800004482.

  1. Peter Church says:

The police probably not interested as this sort of crime is not on their current hit list.
Tell them that a celebrity committed an historical sex crime and they will send the full force out.
