PENARTH BURGLAR JAILED AFTER £45,000 RAID ON HOUSE IN CLINTON ROAD

A Penarth burglar Adrian Edros has been jailed for 18 months for breaking into a house in the town’s up-market Clinton Road and stealing jewellery and other items worth almost £45,000.

Edros – aged 29 of Redland Avenue Penarth – committed the break-in on September 23rd last year .

He stole  thousands of pounds worth of jewellery – including a ring worth £32,500 – and also made off with other valuable items including iPads.

On the evening of the same day Edros then met up with another criminal – Dean Lawlor – and together they broke into a house in Devon Avenue, Barry,  but the alarm was raised by a neighbour and when they were confronted by the homeowner they ran off .

Edros pleaded guilty to two burglaries and Lawlor to one. Edros and Lawlor were each  sentenced to a 10 month term of imprisonment for the Barry break-in . Edros was sentenced to an additional 18 months for Clinton Road robbery – both his sentences to be served consecutively .
