Unless they provide a sick note dock their pay. If I don’t turn up for one day in work I don’t get paid! If I failed to turn up for 3 or more shifts I’d get the sack. Disgraceful.

  2. Andrew Worsley says:

Surely that’s Les Dawson in the first photo????? and heres us thinking he passed away some time ago!.

  3. The Tax payer says:

Glad to see her looking so happy. I would be happy if I could get paid the same for not doing a lot 👍😂
How do they sleep at night I ask myself??

  4. Jp03 says:

    Then stand against them!

  5. Jack says:

This will be of no suprise to her ex teaching colleagues as RB had a terrible attendance record for her actual job when working for Cardiff city council too.
And to think she is now Leader of Penarth Town Council……doh !
Wonder if her partner and daughter represent their wards with the same vigor :/

  6. Frank Evans says:

    Great photo!
Maybe she’s unhappy about doing the little attendance she does.
Under Corbyn’s Labour councillors won’t be expected to ever turn up. The votes will all be decided by the new polit bureau in Islington.

  7. AK says:

Difficult if not impossible for a teacher to take time off during term time for council business. Even in the evening if it clashed with school activities.

Perhaps standing as a councillor is a bad choice for a teacher, and voting a teacher in as a councillor is also a bad choice.

I am still awaiting a reply from my e mail to her a few weeks ago regarding the small notices re “no dogs” in Victoria School playing fields asking her to look into putting up bigger notices as lots of dog owners are either very short sighted and don’t see the signs or cannot read.
